It doesn't need explaining as its pretty simple due to being mainly a kids film so the basic over view of the story is as follows. A colony of ants had been collecting food for a rather greedy horde of grasshoppers when an ant named Flik makes a clumsy mistake losing all the food they'd collected.
Flik is then sent out in search of tough, strong bugs to help the ants defend themselves against the grasshoppers when they return for more replacement food. However, the group of bugs he returns with is not what he had in mind and is not what everyone else in the colony expected, he had mistakenly brought back a group of circus bugs, but luckily they get an idea together to beat the grasshoppers and although things don't quite go to plan all ends well, and Flik even gets the Princess by his side at the end of the film too.
I did enjoy this film as its an easy one to watch and follow, and though there are bits that may have made me laugh if I was still a kid, it didn't have me laughing out loud but I still enjoyed it none the less.
Another Disney film to cross off my list :)
