Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hello, hello, hello...

So I'm not wanting to make excuses for the lack of blog posts but I thought that any readers should at least know why and not think that I'm not sticking to it.

I'm coming up to the end of my second year at university and have recently had a load of work to be doing. One of these bits of coursework has been to create a short film, and this doesn't happen quickly or easily. My friend Hannah and I, as well as another group member, have been working on our short film that we named Trapped, a lot recently and it is slowly coming together. We got all the filming done, captured our footage and as the editor I am nearly finished working together with Hannah to ensure that it all flows well and looks good.

Hopefully when it is all finished, handed in, marked and done with, then I would like to try and maybe get it onto this blog or my YouTube channel (which isn't an interesting one yet, I wouldn't look for it), but obviously I have to get it to the finished state first so for now I shall leave you with some funny photos from editing.

Until next time, thanks for reading :)

The Vampire Diaries

Hello my lovelies,

So I previously mentioned that I'd gotten myself caught up in another television series, and as you can tell that was The Vampire Diaries. I can easily say I love it!

Although it may be embarrassing to admit, I was one of those girls that loved the Twilight books and films so when I found this I got caught up in the story lines and became obsessed with it very quickly.  I am that type of person that once I've started a new series if I like it enough I will watch it continuously until I have caught up with the latest episode. This is exactly what I did. So without using spoilers I want to try and write about my thoughts on this drama and sci-fi type series.

From the first episode I was hooked straight away, I had to know more and find out what was going to happen and had to keep watching to how the plot line progressed with each episode that followed.

I have now caught up with the very latest episode and have loved it all, each week I look forward to the next but hate having to wait. I can easily say that from the beginning the story lines have developed so much and in a good way as they keep viewers like me entertained and keep us hooked wanting to find out more as soon as the following episode it out. One of my friends also watches so with each new episode we are then able to discuss our thoughts and say what we'd like to see happen next between the characters.

Each episode can have more than one plot line developing in it. As we are shown clips from the characters past to inform us of their back stories and what happened for them to be the way they are now. A big plot line that develops within every episode since the very first one, and happens to be my favourite part, is the love triangle between Elena, Stefan and Damon. It's entertaining and interesting to watch and find out who Elena will choose in the end, not that I want Vampire Diaries to ever end.

The cast are amazing and each play their characters so well. I hadn't read the books so I don't know what the characters were like before it was made into a series but I couldn't imagine them being any other way as the cast fit them perfectly and carry out the story lines brilliantly.

There is also a spin off series from The Vampire Diaries called The Originals, which is also brilliant and I also happen to be up to date with the most recent episodes. Some cast members are the same (if you've watched any of The vampire Diaries you'll understand) but the story lines are different and allows us to find out more about these specific characters and their pasts.

All there is to do now is to wait until the next episodes are out, until next time, thanks for reading :)
